Earl Wallace Jeffers, Sr., 80, passed away July 13, 2018.  He was born in Ohio the son of the late Wallace Clinton Jeffers and Alpha Mae Gilkey Jeffers.  He was predeceased by his wife, Nina Ridgely Jeffers; his sister, Grace Joanne Butterfield and his brother, Fred Lee Jeffers.  Earl was a retired United States Navy veteran having served 3 tours in Vietnam.  He later went on to also retire as an aviation technician from NARF.

Earl is survived by his daughters, Kathy Fitzgerald, Tina Jeffers, Bambi Porter, Christie Pearce ("Charlie"), and Kelly Parker ("feetee"); sons, Shawn Odend'hal, Earl Jeffers II, Clint Jeffers, and Dennis Jeffers; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Molly Ann Grubb and Patricia Lea Ruff; brothers, Johnnie Emmett Jeffers and Larry Rudolph Jeffers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Michael D.
