Dudley Joe "Big Joey" Edwards Jr, 52, passed away on November 5, 2020. He was born in Nansemond County, VA to Dudley Joe Edwards Sr. and Frances L. Edwards. He was a mechanic in the automobile business. Joey is predeceased by his son, Joseph Lee Butts.

Joey is survived by his parents, Joe and Frances Edwards; daughter, Britney Edwards; grandson, Mason Jones; sister and brother in law, Lisa and Mike Horton; niece, Taylor Copeland; and nephew, Johnathan Copeland.

A graveside service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor John Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm and other times at the residence.
