Douglas Wayne Polhemus' Obituary
Douglas Wayne Polhemus, 65, passed away on March 16, 2023. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey to Shirley Danser Polhemus and the late Arnold Walter Polhemus. He served in the United States Navy and retired as a First Class Petty Officer. He will continue to love the Lord as a child of God and through the many lives he impacted will remain a disciple of God through our actions.
Douglas is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Marites Ojenal Polhemus; daughter, Nacasa P. Greene (Zachary Greene); sons, Michael D. Polhemus (Joclyn Polhemus) and Gabriel H. Polhemus; grandchildren, Mahalia Polhemus and another one on the way; and brothers, Wayne Polhemus and Raymond Polhemus (Doreen Polhemus).
Douglas' funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Monday, March 27, 2023 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, cards and expressions of love can be forwarded to Nacasa's home address.
