Dorothy Mae Wallace Heft, 86, passed away on November 1, 2025. She was born in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late Ernest Augustus Wallace and Ora Mae Harry Wallace.

She was predeceased by her husband, Everett George Heft; her son, Donald Edward Heft; and her son-in-law, William Ronald Allred.

Dorothy retired after 20 dedicated years as a Housekeeping Facilities Attendant at the West Seneca Developmental Center. Her happiest moments were spent crafting, playing cards, enjoying bingo, and gathering with her dear girlfriends. She had a lifelong love for Elvis Presley and 1950s oldies music. For many years, she hosted large family gatherings for the holidays at her beloved childhood home. Since the age of 10, her favorite restaurant was Taffy's at the top of her street, where she always ordered a banana shake and a hot dog well done with mustard and onion.

Dorothy is survived by her elder brother, Donald Wallace; her daughters, Dawne Marie Mowbray (Michael), Diane Elizabeth Brown (Daniel), and Debra Elaine Allred; her son, David Everett Heft; and her daughter-in-law, Colleen Heft. Her grandchildren, Justin Partridge (Taylor), Mark Partridge (Lauren), Shannon Sauer (Ryan), Erin Mowbray, Stacey Brock, Bobbi Jo Kumro (Nate), Jena Westpfahl (Adam), Andrew Westpfahl (Keeley), Ashley Myers (Mark), Dawson Heft, Angelina Messina (Ricardo), Nicholas Messina (Haley), Brendan Brown, Jeffery Kanner, Morgan Smith, Lauren Heft, and Ryan Salkeld. She is also blessed with 17 great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her lifelong and cherished friend, Donna Carrow, and her close friend, Mary Jane Piechocki and many more cousins, friends and neighbors. Services will be private in Buffalo, NY. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com
