Dorothy Winslow Russell, 88, passed away December 6, 2018.  She was born in Greenville, NC the daughter of the late Bennie Ervin Winslow, Sr. and Nina Stallings Winslow.  She was predeceased by her husband, Percy Franklin Russell, Sr; son, Percy F. Russell, Jr.; twin great grandsons; and 5 siblings.  Dorothy was a member of Berea Christian Church.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Nancy R. Owens (Edgar), Peggy R. Taylor (Johnny); son, Thomas Ray Russell (Stephanie), daughter-in-law, Becky; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Erma W. Baggett, Lisa W. Edmondson, Mary W. King, Axie Fulcher (Butch), Anne W. Moore (Larry); brother, Leslie Ray Winslow, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Robert Stovall officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.  Memorial donations may be made to Berea Christian Church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
