Dorothy E. "Granny" Riggs, 88, passed away May 16, 2014. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC the daughter of the late Clifford M. and Dorothy E. Harris. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter E. Riggs. She retired as a housekeeper for Lombart Instrument Company.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Riggs, Earlene and Charlie Peirce; grandchildren, Robert Louk, Edward Louk, Wil Morse , and Lacie Peirce; and 10 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Memorial Park, 1000 E. Indian River Rd., Norfolk, VA with Chaplain Dick Dinges officiating.
