Dorothy Elizabeth May Reeves, 88, passed away December 23, 2018.  She was born in Jackson, Mississippi the daughter of the late Knox May and Lottie May Smith.  She was predeceased by her husband, Dorsey Reeves.  She worked as a school guard for Suffolk Public Schools.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Margaret Powell (Billy), Ann Drewry (Jimmy); sons, Ronnie Reeves, and James Reeves (Debbie); grandchildren, William, Sherri, Kenneth, Jennifer, Christina, Lisa, and James Jr.; 15 great grandchildren; and brother, William May.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Sexton officiating.  Friends may join the family Thursday night from 7- 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
