Dorothy Hancock King, 87, of Suffolk, VA passed away September 8, 2015. She was born in Newport News, VA to the late Herman and Eddie Hancock. She is also predeceased by her husband, Winfred J. King; daughter, Lisa K. Brinkley; sister, Margaret Kennedy; and brothers, Herman Hancock, Jr., Russell Hancock, and Edward Hancock. Dorothy retired after over 25 years as a Branch Manager for the Bank of Suffolk. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church and the West Memorial Bible Class.

Dorothy is survived by her granddaughter, Beth A. Brinkley; son-in-law, Michael Brinkley; sister, Betty Beard; and several nieces.
