Dorothy Lee Hall, 85, of Suffolk, VA passed away June 29, 2016. She was born in Putman County, WV to the late Willie and Gracie Lena Pate. She is also predeceased by her brother, Carroll Pate and grandson, William Ryan Hall. First Lady Dorothy and her husband, Bishop Hall were founders of Pentecostals of Suffolk, where she taught the ladies auxiliary and youth Sunday school classes.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bishop William Roy Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Hall and Michael Humphrey; sons and daughters-in-law, William David and Karen W. Hall, William Dennis and Patricia Jean "Jeannie" Hall, and Raymond Brian Hall; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and brother, Robert Pate.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Bishop Edwin Harper officiating. Entombment will be private.
