Doris Wiggins Hurley Williams, 75, of Suffolk, VA passed away December 1, 2009. She was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina the daughter of the late Lois Avery and Johnnie Horace Wiggins. She was predeceased by two husbands, George Hurley, Jr. and John Edwin Williams; and a brother, Buck McCoy Wiggins. Doris was a member of Suffolk Christian Church, the West Memorial Class, and the Afternoon Circle.

Doris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl H. and Kenneth Griffin of Suffolk, VA; sons and daughters-in-law, George "Bucky" Hurley, III and Kay Hurley of Suffolk, VA, Keith and Becky Hurley of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Laura, Heather, and Chris Hurley, Kyle and Mary Shannon Griffin; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph Horace Wiggins and Ruby Wiggins of Richmond, VA; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Suffolk Christian Church with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, Friday night from 7:30-9:00 p.m. and other times at the residence of Cheryl and Kenneth Griffin.
