Doris Naomi Satterfield Cruden, 86, passed away July 14, 2021.  She was born in Durham, NC the daughter of the late John Tennie Satterfield and Effie Catherine Carrol Satterfield.  She was predeceased by her husband, James Joseph Cruden; sons, Patrick and John Cruden; and 5 brothers.  She formerly worked in food service at McDonald's.  She was a member of Congregational Christian Assembly.  She was also a member of the Red Hatters Society.  She loved her entire family and neighbors dearly.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Cathy C. Dustin (Timmy); 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Sara Satterfield, June Wilk (Louis); brother, John T. Satterfield, III (Carolyn).
