Doris D. Baker, 85, passed away January 9, 2010. She was the daughter of the late June O. Davidson, Sr. and Louise E. Davidson. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years Clifton B. Baker; brother, June O. Davidson, Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy B. Holland and Phil, and son, Jack O. Baker and Jeannette; grandchildren, James P. Holland and Raven, David C. Holland and Michelle, Jodie B. Brinkley and Michael, and Jason W. Baker; great grandchildren, Dustin P. Holland, Emma Grace Holland, Patricia Nicole Holland, Cash Avery Holland and Noah Walton Brinkley; step grandchildren, Isaiah, Destiny, Phoenix, Heath, and Jayden; sister-in-law, Marjorie W. Davidson.

She was a life member of Holy Neck Christian Church, it's choir, Women's Fellowship, Ladies Sunday School Class and the Friendly Fellowship.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Rev. Reggie Warren and Rev. Dolan Talbert officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Spring Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family Monday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of Jack Baker.
