Dora Virginia Gay Vasser, 89, went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2015. She was born in Isle of Wight County, VA the daughter of the late William Ashley Gay and Dora Ann Turner Gay. She was predeceased by four sisters and one brother.

Dora is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judith Ann Hedgepeth (Wayne), Billie Stidham (Michael); grandchildren, Tammy Garrett, Troy Hedgepeth, Michael Stidham, II, Alan Stidham, and Madison Stidham; seven great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow at Windsor Cemetery. Friends may join the family Sunday night for a visitation from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
