Donnie Lee Shaver, 77, passed away April 7, 2017. He was born in South Carolina to the late Rev. Lee Wesley Shaver and Katherine H. Shaver. He was a United States Army and Navy veteran. He later worked for Parker Tree Service. He was a member of a Pentecostal Holiness Church in South Carolina and also a member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge.

Donnie is survived by his daughters, Teresa Bolen (Curtis), Tina Byrd, and Christine Shaver; sons, Alan Shaver, and Joshua Shaver (Kyrie); 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Linda Parker; niece, Tracy Carr; nephew, Chuck Parker; cousins, Calvin and Marty Shaver, and Toni and Hicks Culbreath.

A celebration of life service with military honors will be Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 2 pm in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. Private inurnment will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Register condolences on www.parrfuneralhome.com.
