Donald dedicated many years of his life to his career as an area manager for Hoffman Beverage Company, where he earned the respect of his colleagues through his hard work and commitment. With patriotism being a part of his life, he served honorably in the US Naval Reserve. These pursuits reflected his love for nature and the tranquility he found in its embrace.
A man of faith, Donald attended Bethlehem Christian Church and Grace Outreach Church, where he nurtured his spiritual life and formed lasting bonds with fellow congregants. He was also a proud member of Berkley Masonic Lodge #167 and the Suffolk Shrine Club, reflecting his dedication to community and service.
Donald was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Benson Joseph Alexander Sr. and Lynette Andrews Alexander; his devoted wife, Linda Speight Alexander; his brothers, Douglas Alexander Sr. and Robert T. Alexander; and his sister, Marie A. Sarber. His memory will be lovingly carried forward by his surviving brother, Benson J. Alexander Jr. and sister-in-law, Hilda; numerous nieces and nephews; his stepson, Bryan Holland; and step-grandchildren, Bryce and Grayson. He is also fondly remembered by his special friends and neighbors, Ernie Curle Jr. and Monique Eley.

Visitation will precede the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Bethlehem Christian Church, 1549 Holland Road, Suffolk, Virginia 23434 or Grace Outreach Church, PO Box 2617, Suffolk, Virginia 23432.
