Dominic Symion
Taduran
July 13, 1993 – July 13, 2023
Dominic Symion Taduran, of Suffolk, Virginia, passed away on July 13, 2023, 30 years to the day; and
we were blessed by the Good Lord to welcome him to our lives and world, a full circle of life. He
is preceded in death by his maternal Grandma/Lola Judy, who fondly called him Noodles or My
Man, and Granddad Alfred, his paternal grandparents, Perfecto, and Belen and Uncles Jiji and
Pros. Dominic attended Virginia Beach and Suffolk public schools, got a GED and attended
some college at TCC and Reynolds community college. Dominic, aka: Dom, Nonoy, Boog, as
affectionately called is survived by his loving and adoring parents, Taggy and Julie; siblings,
Robin, Travis, Gabriel, Julian and Ginger (whom he wanted so much to meet and know , but
didn't get the chance to). Dom is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews,
nieces, other relatives and friends including Amanda, a special friend. Dominic loved and
enjoyed sports, played recreation baseball, and football for HAA, was very good at it, and a
perennial All-star. He enjoyed following his dad's favorite teams, and going to the ballparks to
cheer and wave and hopefully catch a home run (which he hit a few in his playing days) or a
foul ball. Most of all, next to loving us, Dom loved creating music, playing and singing it, too
bad he didn't learn to play any musical instruments, we can only imagine how good he could've
been. He also loved the beach and nature. He had a great heart, and would befriend a
homeless person and a stranger in a minute. A Mass officiated by Father Largoza will be held
on July 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary of the Presentation in Suffolk, Virginia and followed by
a Celebration of Life, at the VFW in Franklin, Virginia at 1:00 PM, please attend the celebration in attire
of his favorites, Redskins, NY Mets and Tie-Dye. If anyone is planning to send flowers or cards,
we would greatly appreciate it to be sent to the family residence.
