Diane Montene Scatina Wiele, 63, of Suffolk, Virginia passed away August 15, 2006. She was a native of Philadelphia, PA and the daughter of the late, Montene O. Cauley and Carmen J. Scatina. She retired as a security guard for Norfolk City Schools.

Diane is survived by her husband of 33 years, James Arnold Wiele of Suffolk, VA; daughter, Debra Lail Thornburgh of Waverly, VA; son, Jeffrey Reid of Suffolk, VA; step-daughter, Cynthia L. Fregoe of Messina, NY; 4 grandchildren, Damion Olson, Dustin Olson, Catlin Fregoe, and Adelle Fregoe; 1 great grandchild, Marcus James Olson; brother, John David Scatina and his wife Peggy of Bracey, VA.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Roger D. Johnson officiating. Friends may join the family Thursday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Contributions may be made to the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad at P.O.
