Diana E. Outlaw Horne, 91, of Portsmouth, VA passed away on June 25, 2012. A native of Aulander, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Outlaw and Sally Bazemore Outlaw. She was also predeceased by her husband, Frederick William Horne, Sr., her son, Ronald Clyde Horne and granddaughter, Heather Spady. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and retired from a career in floral design.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Carolyn H. and Frank Spady, II of Portsmouth, VA and Janet F. Mathias of Smithfield, VA; a son, Frederick W. "Billy" Horne, Jr. of Portsmouth, a stepson, James "Jimmy" Holland, III, of Boston MA; four grandchildren: Amy Hill, Jennifer Bryson, Jessica Pelkey and Judith Mathias and seven great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, with Rev. Jeff Cannon officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
