Dennis Stewart, 37, long time resident of Hanover, VA and currently residing in Portsmouth, VA passed away March 28, 2018. He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland to Ruth Elliott Hill Slaughter and biological father Dennis Stewart. Dennis worked as an IT Specialist with Gannett Media Technologies.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Rachael A. Stewart; sons, Briton Stewart, Scot Stewart; mother and father, Ruth and Michael Slaughter; paternal grandparents, Ruby Stewart, Junius and Delores Slaughter; sisters, Lynda Stewart, Jenna Woodard, Rebeckah Fraser; brothers, John D. F. Stewart, Michael J. Slaughter; nieces, Halley, Asia, Jordan, Ava; nephews, Rameik, Imanni; and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Craft.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Chaplain Robert A.
