Dennis LeRoy Miller, Sr., 71, of Suffolk, VA passed away October 16, 2013. He was born in Salem, Oregon to Alene Wisenhaus Miller and the late Howard Miller. Dennis was a US Army veteran having served during Vietnam. He worked for the Army Corps of Engineer as an Explosive Ordinance Safety Specialist. Dennis was a lifetime member of the NRA.

In addition to his mother, Dennis is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharron R. Miller; daughters, Lisa Williams, Debra Dang, and Millie Snyder; sons, Dennis Miller, Jr. and Matthew Miller; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Yvonne Grindell and Sharon McGimsey; and brother, Eldon Miller.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Friday, October 18, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Roger Johnson officiating. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com
