Evelyn Denise Baines Adams, 61, passed away January 18, 2021.  She was born in Nansemond Co., VA the daughter of the late Evelyn Virginia Bryant and David Edward "Dick" Baines.  Denise retired as an Accounts Receivable Clerk with Nansemond Cold Storage.  She was a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church.

Denise is survived by her husband of 40 years, Leslie Mitchell Adams, Jr.; daughter, Kimberly N. Adams (Adam); son, Wesley Scott Adams; grandchildren, Mason, Noah, Adriana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating.  A visitation with limited gathering and social distancing will be held Thursday night 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 or at www.donate.lovetotherescue.org.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
