Delmer Paul Gibson, Jr., 73 passed away June 9, 2025.  Delmer was born in Pennsylvania the son of the late Delmer Paul Gibson, Sr. and Anna Marie Kmetz Gibson.  He was a retired plumber.  Delmer enjoyed gardening and fishing in his spare time.  Delmer is predeceased by his grandson, Bryson Waters; siblings, Emma Jean Nixon, Kevin Gibson, Karen K. Gibson, Michael Kmetz; and stepmother, Bernice M. Gibson.

Delmer is survived by his daughters, Patty Plumley (Ed), Elizabeth Mors (Jeff), Katherine Foster (Mark), Jennifer Waters (Tim); grandchildren, Amanda (Abel), Kaitlynn (CJ), Sarah (Adam), Carson, Jaxson, Wade; great grandchildren, Lawson, Landan, Natalie; sister, Kim Robinette (Kelly); brother, Joey Gibson; and mother of his children; Karen C. Gibson.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with burial to follow at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the family residence.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
