Debra Phippins Scott Loudin, 58, passed away August 8, 2024.  She was born in Suffolk, VA the daughter of Nancy Umplett Scott Buck and the late Charles William Scott, Sr.  She was predeceased by her step-father, Kenny Buck.  Debra retired as a title clerk.  She was a member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge #141.

Debra loved to garden and enjoyed scrapbooking.  Her trips to West Virginia were always her favorite places to be.

In addition to her mother, Debra is survived by her husband, together for 22 years, Mark Gregory Loudin; children, Benny Lee Phippins, Jr. (Amy), Bryan Wayne Phippins (Jasmine); step-mother, Tina M. Scott; step-children, Regina Marie Loudin, Alisha Renee Loudin, and Mark Anthony Loudin; grandchildren, Claire, Brooke, Christopher, Ariana, Alexis, Christian, and Devon; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Charles William Scott, Jr. (Tina), and Michael Kent Scott, Sr.; step-brothers, Robbie Fox, Bobbie Fox, and Christopher Fox; and special friend, Barbara Sexton.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Barry Sexton officiating.  Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Tuesday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to Tri-County Animal Shelter NC, 138 Icaria Road, Tyner, North Carolina 27980.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
