There are simply no words to fully express Debra's intelligence, beauty, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She cherished time spent with loved ones and found joy in art, music, and creating lasting memories with those around her. In her younger years, she could often be found on the dance floor alongside dear family friends, Darrold and Peggy Kemp, sharing laughter and good times. Debra was a former member of the Moose Lodge and was also employed by FM99, where she was known for her warm and friendly nature.
Debra was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Sigma Halstead Barnett and Billie Marie Rogers Barnett, as well as her cherished daughter, Alisha Marie Miller.
She leaves behind to treasure her memory her loving husband, David R. Miller, Sr.; her son, David R. Miller, Jr., and his significant other, Tammi Doughtie; her precious granddaughter, Rowen Meadow Miller; and her brothers, David A. Barnett and Bill Barnett. She is also survived by Tommy E. Miller and his wife, Debbie Miller; Jimmy Miller and his wife, Debbie G. Miller; and Crystal Miller Teller and her husband, Sam D. Teller, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love and friendship.
A private family viewing will be held at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Debra's memory to the Alzheimer's Association .
Though Debra's presence will be deeply missed, her love, faith, and the countless memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of compassion, warmth, and devotion will be treasured forever.
