Deanna Marie Gray, 49, passed away May 20, 2023.  She was born in Suffolk, VA the daughter of the late Robert Russell Gray, Sr. and Mary Dean Nichols Gray.  She was predeceased by her sister, Robin Lynne Turner; brother, Robert R. Gray, Jr.; and her faithful canine companion, Maddie Mae.  Deanna loved to shop, especially for children less fortunate during the holidays.  She loved all things country.

Deanna is survived by her companion of over 30 years, Michael Griggs; special niece, Brittany Lynne Turner (David); great nieces, Sara and Adalyn Cramer; loving uncle, David Nichols; special cousins, Cindy Stephenson and Betsy Morgan; and special friends, Sharon Williams, Darlene Brinkley, and JoAnn Cherry.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Roland Griggs officiating.  Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.  It was Deanna's request that everyone dress casual for the funeral.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
