Davina "Dee" Dale Beickert Spry, 69, passed away on August 8, 2024.  She was born in Queens, NY the daughter of the late Martin Paul Beickert, Jr. and Ethel Davina Bonifer Beickert. The Beickert family eventually settled in North Carolina and Dee lived most of her adult life in Northeast North Carolina and Southeast Virginia. Dee has lived and worked in Suffolk, VA for over 20 years. While Dee was a valued employee and had a strong work ethic, her children and grandchildren were her proudest achievement. Many people found Dee to be a source of support and comfort as she was always willing to lend an ear. She will be greatly missed by her husband, children, family and friends.

Dee is survived by her husband, Terry Lee Spry, Sr.; children, John David Mosimann, Jr., Jason Daniel Mosimann (Amy), Stephanie Mosimann Wells (Brian); step children, Nicole Spry, Terriann Pray, and Emery Winter; grandchildren, Erin Mosimann, Sarah Waddell, Racheal Boyd, Tyler Mosimann, Rebecca Humphries, Damien Swarthout, Hunter Blankenship, and 3 step grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Martin, Cathy, Mark, Sam, and Matthew; and numerous nieces and nephews. Davina was predeceased by her first husband, John Mosimann, Sr.; step-daughter, April Joy Spry; and sister, Patsy.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating.  Dee would be honored by memorial donations to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers. The following charity recommendations are made by the family; John A.
