David Marvin Leavister, 70, of Carrsville, VA passed away May 17, 2019. He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Harry Freeman Leavister and Edith Marie Hamlett Leavister.  He retired from BASF.

David is survived by his sisters, Judith Best (David), Cynthia Lou Davidson (Buddy); brother, Roger E. Leavister (Ginny); and numerous nieces and nephews.
