David Wayne Halley, 50, died on August 29, 2018, at his home in Suffolk, of natural causes. David is the son of Carmen and Michael Halley, of Suffolk; the brother-in-law of Tammy Halley, and the proud uncle of Sarah Rachael Halley, both of Gainesville, FL. David also leaves dearly-loved aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his special feline companion, Lily.

He was pre-deceased by his brother, Jeffrey Michael Halley, last August.

David is a graduate of Kempsville High School, Virginia Beach, and attended Marshall University in Huntington, WV.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7 to 8 pm at Parr Funeral Home, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434. A private graveside service will be held at Limestone Cemetery, Rockport, West Virginia, at a later date.

Instead of flowers, David would best be remembered and honored with donations to Suffolk Christian Church, 216 N. Main St., Suffolk VA 23434 , marked for the Sarah R. Halley Education Fund.
