David Joseph Fitzgerald, 70, passed away December 24, 2020.  He was born in Newport News, VA the son of the late Richard Joseph Fitzgerald and Hyacinth Moore Fitzgerald.  He was predeceased by his brother, Gary Fitzgerald.  David retired as a shift manager for W.M. Timber Company.  He was a member of Blackwater Baptist Church.

David is survived by his daughter, Erin Lynn Fitzgerald (Jeremy); sons, Patrick J. Fitzgerald (Amy), Richard Z. Fitzgerald (Rebecca); 2 grandchildren; former spouse, Beverly Johnson Fitzgerald (Thomas); sister, Joey Carter; and brother, Tracey Fitzgerald; extended family, David and Deborah Mccuiston, Nicholl, Isaac, Brittany, and Jaxon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday January 9, 2021 at 2:00pm at Rivers United Church with Pastor John Hunter officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
