David Owen Eason, 52, of Suffolk, VA passed away October 18, 2007. He was born in Portsmouth, VA the son of Christine Eason Ward and the late Owen Eason, Jr. He was also predeceased by his step father, J. Morris Ward. He was a farmer and also raised poultry for Purdue. He was a member of Whaleyville United Methodist Church where he also attended Sunday School. He was also a member of the Whaleyville Ruritan Club.

David is survived by his mother, Christine Eason Ward; a sister, Rebecca Ann Eason both of Suffolk, VA; step sister, Jennifer Ward; step brothers, Dr. Jack Ward, Ronnie Ward, Charles Ward, and Edwin Ward; aunt, Juanita Eason Ricketts of Richmond, VA; and many special friends.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Whaleyville United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. George Griffin officiating. Friends may also join the family following the service in fellowship hall of the church for further time of fellowship and other times at the residence of Christine E. Ward, 6401 Whaleyville Blvd., Suffolk, VA. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Whaleyville United Methodist Church at P.O.
