David Michael Coxe, 60, passed away May 1, 2021.  He was born in Raleigh, NC the son of the late David Christopher Coxe and Sarah Alice Collins Gaskins.  He was predeceased by his sister, Kristina Coxe.  David worked as a truck driver.  He was a member of the N.R.A. and was an avid gun and knife collector.  He was also a member of the Coast Guard Auxilary.  In his earlier years he played the drums in numerous bands.

David is survived by his wife of 11 years, Roberta Kay Scoggins Coxe; step children, Marie Halstead (Adam) and Jeremy Steines (Samantha); step grandchildren, Bronwyn Halstead and Felicity Steines; sister, Ellen Sullivan (Mark); step sister, Susan Squires (Steve); step brother, Scott Gaskins (Victoria); and nephews, Isaac Gaskins and Austin Squires.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2 p.m. at South Quay Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Baird officiating.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
