Danny Dale Meadows, 55, of Windsor, VA passed away April 12, 2008. He was born in Maysville, KY the son of the late Lebert and Fostine Cox Meadows. He worked for the Isle of Wight County Engineering Department, Stormwater Compliance division. Danny was a dedicated member of Antioch Church where he taught the Ambassador's Sunday School Class. He was Chairman of the Deacons, an usher, was on the Nominating Committee, and actively involved in the AWANA program where he served as a former Commander. Danny was also on the Planning Commission for the Town of Windsor for over 10 years.

Danny is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue W. Meadows; daughter, Jennifer M. Meadows both of Windsor, VA; brothers and sisters-in-law, William A. and Brenda E. Meadows of Vacaville, CA, and Kenneth M. Meadows, Sr. and Patricia B. Meadows of Somerset, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Antioch Church, Windsor, VA with Rev. Mark T. Habecker and Pastor Michael Whitcomb officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA and other times at the residence of Bobby and Carolyn Harrup, 48 Church St., Windsor, VA.
