Cynthia Lorraine Duck Parker, 51, passed away October 5, 2014. She was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on February 13, 1963 the daughter of Richard "Dickie" and Connie Ellis Duck. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Parker; maternal grandparents, Wilson and Edith Ellis; paternal grandparents, Richard and Elsie Duck. She was a member of the Franklin Ladies Auxillary VFW Post #4411.

Including her parents, Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Dawn Barkers, April Salmon (David); four grandchildren; sisters, Cheryl Rountree, Teresa Duck, Angela Vaughan (Eddie); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; special aunt, Peggy Wilson; and companion, O.C. Jones.

Friends may join the family for a visitation Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Rawls / Ellis Family Cemetery 1878 Manning Rd., Suffolk, VA.
