Craig Allen Chappell, 53, passed away September 17, 2016. He was born in Halifax County, NC the son of the late Charles E. and Shirley S. Chappell. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Chappell. Craig formerly worked as a mechanic.

Craig is survived by his wife of 23 years, Judy Ann Copeland Chappell; daughter, Christy "Punkin" Chappell; sister, Debbie Matthews; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Ray Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
