Corine Oliver Carr, 86, passed away on August 4, 2024. She was born in Suffolk, Virginia to the late Nina Griggs and Horace Oliver Sr. She is also predeceased by her husband of 58 years, James Thomas Carr, and granddaughter, Taylor Rhee Carr. She retired after 22 years, as a secretary for Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a life member of Bethlehem Christian Church, where she served as a deaconess and in the Joyce Anne Harrell Sunday school class, King Circle, and Fellowship Club.

Corine is survived by her daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Carr; son, James Oliver Carr (John Matous); grandson, Matthew Scott Carr; and great grandchildren, Jayden Brown and Aurora Outlaw.

Corine's services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Food Bank of Bethlehem Christian Church, 1549 Holland Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434.
