Clyde "Buck" "Pop" Eugene Kelly, Sr., 91, passed away October 17, 2023.  Buck was born in Nansemond Co., VA the son of the late Nannie Ruby Moody and Jack Hulda Kelly.  He is predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Baker Kelly; sisters, Hulda Knight, Faye Goddin, Dorothy Parr, and brothers, John Kelly and Frank Kelly, Sr.  Buck retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army Reserves.  He also worked as a shipbuilding designer.  He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.

Pop is survived by his children, Clyde "Bucky" Eugene Kelly, Jr. and wife Linda, Cathy Virginia Kelly and husband Jeff, Jack Vaughan Kelly and wife Teresa, Timothy Shawn Kelly; grandchildren, Kelly Gaiotti (Rob), Andrew Long (Corie), Brandon Kelly (Anne), Lindsay Lorson (Ryan), Allen Kelly (Alyssa), Robert Kelly, Jessica K. Savage (Trent), Kathleen O'Berry; great grandchildren, Ryan, Eli, Reagan, Brecklyn, Emma, Ethan, Parker, Sydney, Ezekiel, Vera, Ethan Savage, Tristen, Lucas; sister, Betty Jean Odom and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Les Ferguson officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church.   Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
