Clifton "C.R." Randolph Branch, 87, passed away May 12, 2015. He was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC the son of the late Johnny W. and Hattie W. Branch. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Shirley B. Branch; sister, Sarah Singleton; and son-in-law, Bobby Lilley. He was a United State Air Force veteran having served as a corpsman. Clifton worked for many years in the food service industry. He retired as a salesman from Doughtie's BBQ and Portsmouth City Schools. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He served as President of Tidewater Gospel Music Association for many years.

Clifton is survived by his daughter, Sherri Branch Lilley; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Earl and Nancy C. Greene; grandchildren, M. Neil Greene, Nicole L. Siebert (Adam), Heather L. Russell (Brandon); great grandchildren, Amanda Greene, Kearstin and Landon Russell; sister, Janice Branch; brother, Johnny W. Branch, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Sandy. Special thanks to special caregivers, Peggy Culpepper, James and Melissa Middleton.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tom Potter officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Friday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence.
