Claude A. Hardison, Sr., born July 17, 1933 passed away on November 27, 2021 to go home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his beloved wife, Sonja who passed away on May 4, 2016.

He is survived by his oldest son, Claude, Jr. and his wife, Beverly; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; also his 2 ^nd son, Cliff J. Hardison.

Claude, Sr. graduated from Maury High School in 1951 and joined the Air Force in 1951 during the Korean War.  He was on the Norfolk Police Force for 6 years and then went on to work for Hartford Insurance Company as a claim adjuster for 30 years.  Claude and Sonja were members of Living Hope Community Fellowship.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Payne officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project Memorial, P.O.
