Clarence Linwood Jones, 84, of Suffolk, VA passed away January 23, 2007. He was born in Nansemond County, the son of the late Mary Ethel Newsome Jones and Thomas Anthony Jones. Clarence retired after working over 50 years as a printer for Planters Peanut Company and was also a former employee of I. O. Hill Funeral Home. He was a Suffolk High School graduate and attended Cypress Chapel Christian Church.

Clarence is survived by his loving companion of 25 years, Bobbie Ellis Blowe of Suffolk, VA; a sister, Grace J. Gillespie of Ahoskie, NC; step-daughters, Betty Jean Barrow of Florida and Mary Lee Melton of Richmond, VA; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn Ellis.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2007
