Christopher John Francis, 38, passed away February 6, 2020.  He was born in Janesville, Wisconsin the son of John Lee Francis and Carole Allene Mennicke Francis.  Christopher was a United States Navy veteran.  He later went on to work as a project manager for Atlas Technologies, Inc.  He was a member of Kempsville Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his parents Christopher is survived by his wife of 12 years, Julie Melinda Francis; son, Zachary Francis; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joe and Janet Simmons; and a sister and brother-in-law, Cathy A. Hewitt (John).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Kempsville Presbyterian Church, 805 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464 with Pastor Steve Keller officiating.  Burial with military honors will be held prior to the service on Friday at 10 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434.
