Charlie William Walston, 55, passed away August 29, 2018.  He was born in Norfolk, VA the son of the late William Edgar Walston and Jeanette Knight Walston.  He was predeceased by his sisters, Faye Price, Joan Ayers, and Sylvia Martin.  Charlie was the owner and operator of Custom Interiors Plaster and Dry Wall.  He was a member of Wilroy Baptist Church.  Charlie was a diehard Cowboys fan and an avid collector of things that he loved.  He loved everyone BIG and had a heart of gold.  He would help anyone he could and never met a stranger.  His family meant everything to him.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marianne Goodwin Walston; sons, Matthew William Walston and Jackson Luke Walston; sisters, Susan Bateman (Jeff), and Phyllis Sides; brother, Bert Collins; mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Nellie Goodwin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Darlene Gordon (Vince), Janet Shinsky (Walt), William C. Goodwin (Amanda); and numerous nieces, nephews, great niece, and great nephew.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Wilroy Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating.  Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a visitation Friday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence.  Memorial donations may be made to Wilroy Baptist Church.  Charlie was an organ recipient and would encourage everyone to be an organ donor.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
