Charles Edward Sari, Sr., 72, passed away May 7, 2015. He was born in Norfolk, VA the son of the late Nathan and Annie Brickhouse. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard A. Sari. He retired as a longshoreman for the Hampton Roads Shipping Association. He was a member of the Local #970 for over 40 years.

Charles is survived by his wife, Beth; children, Debra (Conrad), Charles Jr. (Tina), Earl Sr. (DeAnna); grandchildren, Tiffany, Earl, Charles, Alex, Brooke, Joshua; great grandchildren, Brehlynn and Colton; sisters, Carol and Kitty; and brother, Butch.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Eric Eriksen officiating.
