Charles "Chuck" Ernest Pollard, 77, of Windsor, VA passed away on March 19, 2010. A native of Lebanon, NH he was the son of the late Elroy Pollard and Gladys Goodwin Pollard and predeceased by wife of 52 years, Margaret M. Pollard, three sisters, Marjorie Patton, Madaline Hollis, and Phyllis Smith, three brothers, Richard, Roger, and Benny Pollard. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War conflict. Chuck was the owner of Pollard's Electric and was a former member of Windsor Volunteer Fire Department.

Chuck is survived by his daughter and son in law, Deborah P. and Wayne Ford of Windsor, VA, two granddaughters, Casey F. Johnson and husband H. Brian, and Haley E. Ford, one great grandchild, Cody L. Johnson, three sisters, Nancy Nadeau, Colleen LaCroix, and Beverly Hill, four brothers, Donnie, Arthur, David, and Robert Pollard.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 11:00 am at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Doug Van Niel officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Monday, March 22, 2010 from 7 to 8 pm at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home of Deborah and Wayne Ford.
