Charles Edward Dunkley, 52, passed away December 29, 2024.  He was born in Richmond, VA the son of Samuel and Joan Dunkley.  Charles was a veteran serving in the Army National Guard and United States Navy Reserves.  He was currently working as the account's manager for Avis Budget Group.  He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and was a former Mason with the Henrico Lodge.

In addition to his parents, Charles is survived by his wife of 18 years, Melissa Thrasher Dunkley; daughters, Jessica Courtney Welborn (Trevor) and Cassidy Dunkley; sister, Lori D. Wadsworth; brother, William "Billy" S. Dunkley (Amy); niece and nephews, Ashley, Trey, Nathan, and Holden.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Chaplain Sam Lymon officiating.  Inurnment with military honors will follow at Albert G.
