Charles Edward Bush, III, 74, of Surry, VA passed away July 20, 2007. He was born in Crittenden, VA the son of the late Vernon Guy Bush, Sr. and Rachael Hill Bush. He was also predeceased by his brother, Vernon G. Bush, Jr. He retired as a self employed electrician. Charles was a member of Community Baptist Church in Suffolk, VA where he formerly served in the choir. He was also a member of the Mama and the Papas Musical Group and the Bass Masters Club.

Charles is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Fond Vranjes Morgan Bush of Surry, VA; son, Charles Edward Bush, IV of Cary, NC; step daughter, Donna Cosentino of Hampton; step son, Jay Vranjes of Hampton, VA; sister, Judith Bush Hemmer of North Bend, OH; 3 grandchildren, Andrew and Rebecca Bush, and Chase Cosentino.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 22, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home with Rev. Byron McCreary and Rev. Roger D. Johnson officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be Monday, July 23, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery.
