Cecil Reynolds Hawkins, 69, passed away on April 18, 2012. A native of Norfolk, VA he was the son of the late Cecil Hawkins and Ermarie Abbott Hawkins. He was a veteran of the United State Air Force and served during the Vietnam Conflict. Cecil retired as director of Fleet Management for the City of Suffolk.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sharon Hawkins; sons: Michael D. Hawkins, Mark W. Hawkins and Michael E. Miller; a daughter, Gina Barnhart; and seven grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin Eley officiating. Burial will follow at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
