Carolyn Jeanette Klages Shaver, 77, passed away April 18, 2021.  She was born in Newport News, VA the daughter of the late Richard Randolph Klages, Jr. and Bessie Mae Hoggard Klages Carter.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Margaret Bulls, Diana Carter, and Richard R. Klages, III.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Teresa Bolen (Curtis), Tina Byrd, Christine Shaver; sons, Stephen, Danny, Kevin, and Alan Shaver; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 5 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
