Carol Grace Woodard, 87, passed away June 10, 2017.  She was born in New Castle, PA the daughter of the late Cecil Edward Woodard and Grace Patterson Woodard.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Richard and Jack Woodard.  She worked as an administrative assistant at the Washington Post and Steptoe & Johnson, LLP.   The highlight of her working years was her tenure as personal assistant to Katharine Graham when she was publisher of the Washington Post.  Carol enjoyed cruising and made many friends during her adventures around the world.

Carol is survived by her brother, James Patterson Woodard; sister, Marilyn Woodard Park; nieces, Dawn Woodard Murray and husband, Ray; Dara Woodard Boswell and husband, Jimmie; Barbara Park Graeser and husband, Joe; Patricia Park Heinselman and husband, David; and many great nieces and nephews.
