Carl White
Hart, Jr.
September 6, 1951 – December 26, 2023
Carl White Hart Jr., 72, went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2023. He was born in Wilkinsburg, PA, the son of the late Carl W. Hart, Sr. and Laura R. Weaverling. Carl retired as Chief after serving in the United States Navy for over 25 years. He later went on to work for Raytheon Corporation for over 10 years. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher. He participated in the Franklin Cruise In and was a member of the Suffolk Hot Rod Association. Carl's greatest love was the Lord, his family, and hot rodders.
Carl is survived by his wife of 24 years, June M. Porter Hart; children, Kristi M. Hart and Michael S. Hart (Brittany); step children, Jennifer S. Shields (Timothy), Christopher R. Worrell, Brandon N. Myers and Anthony Rosati; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Sharon L. Bostard, Cherryl Grgic (Joe), and James Hart (Patty); numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Jake Judy.
Services will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Lisa Meyers officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2-3:00 pm at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence United Methodist Church 3109 Providence Rd. Suffolk,Va. 23434 in Carl's honor. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
