Burlie Ben Vincent, 69, of Chesapeake, VA passed away August 1, 2007. He was born in Pulaski, Tennessee the son of the late Hattie Mae Darnell Vincent and Lonnie Briggs Vincent. He was also predeceased by his son, Robert Saunders, two sisters, and four brothers. He retired after 39 years as a foreman for Dixie Manufacturing Company.

Burlie is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Broughon Vincent of Chesapeake, VA; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Skip Cox of Gloucester, VA, Lynda and Ron Richards of Chesapeake, VA, Rhonda and Michael Pitts of Virginia Beach, VA; sons and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Judy Saunders of Suffolk, VA, and Toby Vincent of Victoria, VA; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sister, Polly Satterfield of Portsmouth, VA; twin brother and sister-in-law, Earlie and Sandy Vincent of Chesapeake, VA; and a host of extended family members.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home with Evangelist Robert Richards officiating. Interment will be in the Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Suffolk, VA, with a time of fellowship in the church following the burial.
